Gaming has now become an important part of our smartphone culture
ATW (Arjun's Tech World) selects the best Android games to make the best out of phone's graphics.

1:Temple Run (1,2,3) by Imangi Studios
This game is a never ending running games. The player has to run away from demons while collecting power ups, coins and also should dodge the obstacles in the way. As the distance you run increase, the difficulty of the game also increases so does the speed of the game.

This game is superb! For the first time in an Angry birds Edition you canplay as the pigs. More than 30 playable characters including Darth Maul,Emperor Palpatine etc.

Feed with candy! The poor Om Nom is hungry!
Cut the rope which suspends the candy & also collect stars while you do & make the creature happy. Use Telekinesis to control the candy & prevent it from falling out of the box!

4:Asphalt 8:Airborne
The best racing game in Google Play store. 47 Cars & newer ones being added. Immersive audio & car sounds! Jump in the air, make 360 degree turns and be airborne! Needs good graphics but the game is totally amazing and swift.Just download it & gentlemen start your engines & WROOM!

Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro Review

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro is a budget phone from Samsung. It has 1GHZ Quad core processor, 1GB RAM, and Adreno GPU.
Lets go through the phone.
The phone is very light to hold just like feather so i just felt that it'll just slip out of the hands. Looks quite sturdy and follows the Samsung design philosophy
easily grasped by the physical button positions. Then it was powered  on. It took some time to boot but that's not a problem.
Play store was opened and a few apps and games were  given a try.
After few minutes, the phone started heating up and after a while it heat up so badly that i had to drop it. Apps like Talking tom,Real Racing etc slowed down to snail speed. Benchmark scores revealed another set of pathetic situations.
The phone is very badly affected by the pre loaded bloatware apps by Samsung which run in background.
I benchmarked it and found the score to be lower than Micromax Canvas HD.
So i just thought that it was an error and ran benchmarks again. Still the same. Samsung fanboys, you'll be disappointed.Overall, i don't recommend buying this phone.
ATW Score:4/10

Motorola Moto G Review

The Moto G is the only smartphone fully assembled in USA.It is a budget smartphone but still has eye-popping specifications.
The phone feels slightly heavy to hold for me,but it may vary among different people.
The stock android is very optimised & is free of bloat apps which limit the phone's performance.
The camera quality is not so great under low light conditions and photos taken has considerable blur.
Multitasking can be done with ease and all apps which was downloaded ran without any problems ,thanks to Kitkat.
It's specifications are:
  • 1.2 GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad core Processor
  • Adreno 305 GPU
  • 1280*720 Pixel IPS LCD 4.6 Inch
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 5 MP AF Camera with Flash
  • 2070 mAh Battery
Sadly, it doesn't support NFC.
Antutu Benchmark Score: 16556
ATW Score:7/10
Features     :7/10
Performance:9/10

Canvas HD Review with ColorOs Android

Micromax Canvas HD is the best budget phone available in India. Even if the phone was released a long time before it still is a trending phone.Lets a take a review of it.
I have removed the stock android version of the phone and installed ColorOs ROM on it. This ROM has Over The Air Firmware update support (OTA).
I have also installed custom recovery by Team Win Recovey (TWRP) so that zip files can be flashed with ease.
Thanks to XDA member manishsharma17 for the ROM check this xda thread for downloading ROM
The phone has good specifications:
  •  1GHZ Mediatek MTK6589 Processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 1.77GB Internal Memory Expandable to 32GB via MicroSD
  • 2000mAh Battery
  • 8MP AF Camera with Flash
  • 2MP Front Camera
  • PowerVR SGX 544MP Graphics Processor
  • Resolution 1280*720 Pixel LCD
Note that this phone is running on  custom rom OPPO ColorOS Port.
The interface is smooth. The phone can play the heavy graphic games from the Play Store.
Dead Trigger, Real Racing and Gameloft games ran without any slowdown.
But the Battery backup is the problem. The 2000mAh battery doesn't seem to last for a day.But intense burden on the RAM & lots of multitasking made the phone hang for a couple of seconds.
Antutu Benchmark Scores:
General Score: 11980
                                                      GPU (3D)     :2199
                                                      CPU Integer  :1842
                                                      CPU float point:1281
                                                      Multi task score:2635
In the comparison this phone stands on top of Samsung Galaxy S2.
ATW Score:6/10
